Two weeks ahead of our birthday this year, my good friend Ennuh and I decided to do a shoot where we imagined that in a parallel universe (probably somewhere in Japan), we threw a party but all our guests ditched us.
It was our creative response to not being able to celebrate with our friends due to the pandemic. It was an (un)happy birthday for both of us.
